Aldara da Silva Cesar
Associate Professor in the Department of Agribusiness Engineering at the Federal Fluminense University (UFF) (Volta Redonda Campus, Rio de Janeiro), responsible for the Agroindustrial Systems Analysis Group (GASA). She holds a degree in Food Engineering from the Federal University of Viçosa and a master's and doctorate in Production Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). She is a member of the faculty of the Postgraduate Program in Environmental Technology at UFF. She spent a year (2018-2019) at the University of New England (NSW, Australia) as a Visiting Scholar/Visiting Professor funded by the Endeavour Program and CAPES to study the issue of food waste. Her main research focuses on discussions about the competitiveness and sustainability of agribusiness production chains.
