Fernanda Kesrouani Lemos
Associate researcher at Insper Agro Global, Metricis and York University in Toronto. She currently works with research on private sustainability standards in the soy and mining chains and global animal protein chains. Her main interests are aligned with corporate and government strategies, multilateral relations, innovation and sustainability. PhD in Administration from the School of Economics, Administration and Accounting of the University of São Paulo (USP) in 2017, Master in Production Engineering from the Polytechnic School of USP in 2014. She has a degree in Economics (MBE) from the School of Economics of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (EEFGV-SP) and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Higher School of Advertising and Marketing (ESPM). She is a partner at Guaná Agropecuária and Kesrouani Lemos Consultoria. She is co-author of the books Beef cattle economics: fundamentals and the price cycle (2017) Agricultural policy in Brazil – agribusiness from a global perspective (2019) and the biography of Alysson Paolinelli (2020).

Book released in 2024 and organized by Marcos Mendes, which brings together 11 successful cases of public policies and shows that good results require accurate diagnosis, careful planning and constant monitoring. The Insper Agro Global team was the author of chapter 5: “ABC Plan and the incentive for the development of low-carbon agriculture”.
