He has 38 years of professional experience in global agribusiness issues, having worked as a professor and researcher at ESALQ-USP, FEA-USP, IRI-USP, and Icone. He has worked as an executive in companies (BRF), trade associations (CEO of UNICA), government, and international organizations (IDB). He serves as an advisor to Minerva Foods, Colombo Agroindústria, Cosag-Fiesp, and Cebri. He lived abroad for 10 years, studying or working on global agribusiness issues in the United States, Europe (France), and Asia (Singapore). He holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from ESALQ-USP, a Master's degree in Agricultural Policy from Montpellier, France, a PhD in Business Administration from FEA-USP, and a Full Professorship from ESALQ.
