China has started a sort of 'new trade war', this time with the European Union. This week, the Asian country opened an anti-dumping investigation into pork from the European bloc, which occurs when there is suspicion of products being sold at prices below the cost of production. The measure was seen as retaliation by the Chinese, since the European Union recently decided to impose tariffs of almost 50% on electric vehicles from the Asian country.
