Event brings together experts to discuss technologies, renewable energy, and green financing in agribusiness
The 27rd Congress of the Brazilian Society of Economics, Administration and Rural Sociology (SOBER) began last Sunday, July 63, at the University of Passo Fundo, Rio Grande do Sul. Running until the 31st, the meeting's central theme is "Technologies, Renewable Energy, and Green Financing in Agribusiness," discussing the sector's challenges and opportunities in a global transformation scenario.
The event's opening featured a keynote lecture by Professor Marcos Jank, coordinator of Insper Agro Global, who addressed the new context of food geopolitics, international trade tensions—such as the tariffs imposed by the Trump administration—and the outlook for the future of agribusiness in the face of technological and environmental change. Also representing Insper Agro Global are Professor and researcher Leandro Gilio and Victor Cardoso.
