Prof. Dr. Marcos Jank
Senior Professor of Global Agribusiness at INSPER and Coordinator of Insper Agro Global. He was president of ÚNICA and ICONE. He holds an agronomist (ESALQ-USP), a master's degree in agricultural policy (Montpellier, France), a doctorate (FEA-USP), and a tenured professorship (ESALQ-USP). He is a board member of Minerva, Colombo, GK Partners, FIESP, and CEBRI.

PROFESSORS AND RESEARCHERS

 

Dr. Leandro Gilio
Researcher and professor at Insper Agro Global. Coordinates the research area focused on “Trade, geopolitics and food security” at the Center. Economist (FEA-USP) with a master's and doctorate in economics from Esalq-USP, he was a researcher at CEPEA/Esalq-USP, IPEA, professor at UFSCAR and consultant at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. 

 

Dr. Alberto Pfeifer
Policy Fellow at Insper Agro Global, where he coordinates the research area "geopolitics, strategy, and international security in agribusiness." He is an Agricultural Engineer (ESALQ/USP) and holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from (USP). He holds a Master's degree in Applied Economics (USP) and a Master's degree in International Relations (Tufts and Harvard University), and a PhD in Geography (USP). He holds a specialization in Capital Markets (MBA) from FGV-RJ/Ibmec and a specialization in Early Childhood Development from the Graduate School of Education, Harvard University, and the USP School of Medicine.

 

M.Sc. Gabriela Mota da Cruz
Researcher and professor at Insper Agro Global. Responsible for the climate and environmental agenda related to the agricultural sector. Specialist in Economic Modeling with experience in general equilibrium models (GTAP and PAEG), partial equilibrium model (BLUM) and econometric/statistical models.

 

Bruno Capuzzi
Researcher at Insper Agro Global and assistant professor in the International Relations course at FECAP. Holds a Master's degree in Economics, specializing in international trade from Saint Petersburg State University (Russia), and has experience in public policies focused on agribusiness and Brazil-European Union relations. He has worked as an advisor for ApexBrasil in Brussels and for the United Nations system, through UNCTAD, in New York. He was a Policy Leader Fellow at the European University Institute (EUI) and is a Senior Fellow at the European Centre for International Political Economy (ECIPE). His research focuses on trade and sustainability, sustainable agriculture, global regulatory governance, and economic integration.

 

Renato Laffranchi Falcao

Researcher at Insper Agro Global. Computer Engineer from Insper. With experience in data analysis and the development of solutions focused on automation and Artificial Intelligence, he contributes to the preparation of studies on foreign trade and trade policies, focusing on the implementation of innovative technologies that boost the efficiency of research in Brazilian agribusiness.

Gabriela Veiga

Research assistant at Insper Agro Global and undergraduate student in Business Administration (Insper).

 

Tarcísio Sanches da Costa Azevedo

Research assistant at Insper Agro Global and undergraduate student in Economics (Insper). Responsible for collecting, manipulating, and analyzing data from different databases, contributing to the preparation of teaching materials and academic articles. Also involved in monitoring the Brazilian and international agricultural situation, as well as preparing reports.
